using coupons before are looking for free grocery coupons that they can
print online. Printing manufacturer grocery coupons saves you money in lots
of ways- It lowers your overall grocery bill. Saves you the cost of buying a
newspaper to clip coupons and the gas to drive to buy the paper. However, if
you are already out, the Sunday newspaper is an invaluable resource for
manufacturer coupons.
Why do manufacturers offer grocery coupons:
1. Manufacturers and advertising agencies often offer coupons to
strengthen the "brand" for popular products.
2. If they offer consumers coupons for products, they may be more likely to
try the product and like it and them buy it more often.
3. Grocery stores offer manufacturer coupons in their weekly flyers to
encourage consumers to shop at their store for the best deals.
4. There may be a surplus of a product that a company wants to sell.
Why are manufacturer coupons better then store coupons?
When you have a coupon from the manufacturer it can be used at any grocery store that accepts coupons. This allows the consumer to look for the product at several stores and purchase it where the price is the lowest or from the store that offers to double the coupon. If you have a store coupon it can only be used at that particular store.

Tips for making the most of online grocery coupons
- Check the manufacturers website each month to see if they have listed new coupons.
- Watch the expiration dates of the coupons- if you can not use it in time, do not print it off. Many companies only allow you to print 1 to 2 coupons per month. Don't waste it on a coupon you can't use.
- Make sure your printer is plugged in and has paper and ink before selecting the coupon to print.
- Do your research to see which grocery stores in your area offer double coupons and only shop on double coupon day.
